5.0 out of 5 stars Driod Charge, August 8, 2011 By Eric - I love this phone better than the thunder bolt, I bought the TB first then I almost got admitted to the mental institution because I was charging it all the time and even with the extended battery and all the battery saving apps. I turned in the phone for the Samsung Charge. I did have issues with the Charge too and it was better than the TB. It was much lighter too. What sold me on the phone and helps with the battery life was 2 major things.. The set up screen on the app at the bottom "about the phone" I clicked on to that and looked at the battery use and where it was majorly drawing from. It was the screen display. I then went on DISPLAY and put it on AUTO. Auto would dim the screen and brighten the screen automatically to the lighting of your surroundings. That saved a lot of power, then I added the "LTE Switch." (Free on the Droid market) My location does not have 4g so the switch shuts off the constant searching for it. It stays on 3g. If I go to a location with 4g I turn it on, very simple. JUST those 2 adjustments and I only charge the phone once a day on a standard battery..... I love the phone 100% better. See all my reviews
Samsung Nexus S 4G Android Phone (Sprint)

5.0 out of 5 stars It's what an iPhone wants to be, August 12, 2011By J. C. Smith (Ft. Worth, TX USA) - My reception is great in 4G, 3G on the Sprint network and flawless on WiFi. I don't know what these other reviews are talking about. Sounds like some type of bias. I like the fact that my phone is updated with the latest Android version first, is a true Android operating system and a very good looking, sleek phone. I recommend it. Cons: no micro SD slot (has 13 GB of internal storage) and no micro HDMI output. Other than, it's the best phone I have ever had. See all 27 customer reviews...
Samsung Epic 4G Android Phone (Sprint)

4.0 out of 5 stars great phone featuring Hotspot functionality, August 8, 2011 By D. Briscoe (Athens, GA USA) - I have had the phone for about 10 months. It is a great phone. The display is clear and colorful. One thing that does bother me is that it is very bright to look at at night - I wish the brightness could be turned down more. I have used the Hotspot functionality at times, which costs $29 a month. You can turn it on and off any day that you want at no charge, but it is a small hassle to make that change to your account at Sprint's website. The Hotspot's 4G speed seems to be typically 3 or 4 MB/s where I live. Sprint has been slow to deliver Android updates, still waiting for Gingerbread, so that is a minor annoyance.
