Motorola DROID 3 Global Android Phone (Verizon Wireless)

4.0 out of 5 stars Love it !, August 6, 2011By justhavnfun - I have had the OG Droid for almost 2 years. I loved my Droid but I never used the slide keyboard and it was really heavy. I was looking at getting the Droid X2 or the Thunderbolt when my Droid started have touchscreen issues. So glad I decided on the Droid 3. They have improved the slide keyboard so so much! I actually use it now! The keys are spaced out more and it seems much more natural to type with them. I have read that some people are not happy with the speaker change but it seems plenty loud to me especially compared to the Droid X2 that my husband got. That speaker is almost like listening to headphones on a table. I have not had any problems with battery life either. All and all pretty happy Droid 3 owner here. The only thing that would make it super awesome would be a battery that last a couple of days and a slight improvement with screen quality but that is just being nit picky. 5.0 out of 5 stars All-Around Performer, August 8, 2011 By A. Ketzler (Columbus, OH USA) - I've had this phone for about a week and absolutely love this thing. The X2 puts my iPhone and HTC Surround (Windows Phone 7) to shame. I switched to Verizon from A&T as I am going to be moving soon and Verizon has way better coverage there. Amazingly I do not, however, get better reception at home right now with Verizon. Although, it seems like I get consistently good coverage anywhere else I go. The Android operating system allows me so much freedom when compared to iPhone and WP7. The dual core processor keeps things moving at a lightning fast pace, and the ability to view flash content is a godsend. The limitations of my previous phones were such an annoyance, but those days are gone, and I don't plan on going back. The screen is huge at 4.3", which makes watching videos and browsing the web a pleasure. I am a happy convert to Android and will remain so until someone else dethrones them, as they are clearly at the top of the cell phone market right now. See all 23 customer reviews...
Motorola Photon 4G Android Phone (Sprint)

5.0 out of 5 stars VERY Pleased with this phone!, August 7, 2011By Brucer (Hawaii) - The responsiveness of the phone is excellent. No lag time at all. The screen is beautiful - very clear and not overdecorated like Samsung's AMOLED screens which seem a bit harsh and cartoonist. One reviewer mentioned that the kickstand opens in the wrong direction but in fact it works fine in BOTH directions (as mentioned in the instructions) so if you're plugged into the charger or HDMI port the phone still supports itself. The phone is very solid and the soft touch back doesn't show fingerprints and won't slip from your hand. Reception is excellent - side by side with an Epic 4G the Photon 4G showed 5 bars to the Epic's 3. Could be just a difference in how the display is calculated but MOTO has always been known for the high quality of their radios. Coming from an LG Sentio I'm still getting used to the large size but my eyes and fingers appreciate the added acerage and the tapered corners make it easy to use with one hand. Products always improve and today's best is tomorrow's junk but I think that the Photon 4G certainly qualifies as state-of-the-art.
Motorola DROID 2 Global Android Phone, White (Verizon Wireless)

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT, July 12, 2011By Dreamchaser - I have been with VZW since 2006 and will never leave a true fact. This phone is one of the good ones out in the market now with an actual keyboard. Love this phone to death it does everything that I need it to do. If you don't understand how your phone functions then of course you are going to have problem with it. Your battery life drains quickly b/c you have too many programs and apps running so you need to manually force stop those programs or applications. For others it's because they are on their phone 24/7 so of course your battery won't last so for those users I would buy an extended battery it actually works for heavy data users.
